~Hot Stone Massage~
The therapist will use hot, smooth basalt stones. Soothing scents may be added to the heated water to further relax you. Chamomile, a calming scent, ylang ylang, a natural anti-depressant, or if you suffer from migraines, peppermint and rosemary may be used. If you're looking for arthritis or joint pain relief, ginger may be used.
The heated stones will be gently placed on the muscles on either side of the spine to promote deep tissue relaxation. The therapist glides the hot stones over your body. As the stones cool, more stones will be used until muscles are completely relaxed. **Not appropriate for those with heart disease, diabetes, or who are pregnant.**
